Odyssey Cycling provide "private cycling tours" in China. You (maybe yourself only, or with your spouse or lover, or your family, or your friends) will have an English (or other language like German, French, Japanese, etc.) speaking licensed tour guide and a licensed driver. The guide and driver will be at your service during the whole tour organized by COT. We will design your cycling trip according to your needs and your budget.

2. How to book a cycling tour?

After receiving your inquiry, we will work out an ideal tour itinerary and price with full understanding of your requirements (we might have more questions). When it finally meets your satisfaction, it's time for you to book your cycling tour with us. Here are some easy steps:

State in an email to confirm with us that you accept the tour itinerary and price we provided (together with inclusions and exclusions);

Pay a deposit of USD150 per person to us. The balance is to be paid in full no later than 15 days prior to your arrival date. If we receive your booking less than 30 days prior to the tour start date, we will ask for payment to be made in full once you confirm to book the tour.

We accept credit card (by faxed authorization letter), wire transfer and Western Union transfer.

At the time you pay the deposit, please provide us the full name (the same on the passport), passport number, gender and nationality of each passenger.

Once we received your deposit, we will make all the reservations according to your route. We will send you a confirmation letter when all the bookings are secured. At this time all you need is to pack up and get ready to go!

We usually leave the international flights to your own arrangement because there are plenty websites where you can find good deals to fit your traveling schedule. So while consulting us for a perfect itinerary, please try to book the international flights and tell us your flight information (flight number, arrival time).

3. Alteration, Cancellation and Refunding

Alteration
We provide free service to modify your cycling route two times after you confirm to book your tour. We do provide unlimited alteration to meet your ultimate satisfaction, but from the third time we charge a $20 surcharge for every new modification. Too late alteration might not be workable.

Cancellation
You may cancel your confirmed booking, but this must be in written letter (email or fax). But if cancellation occurs after your confirmation to book the tour, or if you fail to pay the full cost of the tour within the specified time, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges. Cancellation charges are as follows:

No less than 30 days before departure: $50 per person
30 to 15 days before departure: $150 per person
14 to 7 days before departure: 50% of the full payment per person
6 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the full payment per person
Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees.

After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Refunding
If you have paid for the tour but then have to cancel it more than 15 days before the start of your tour, we will refund all the payment except the deposit ($150 per person). If cancellation has to be made within 15 days, we will charge some cancellation penalty as well as the deposit, according to how much we have to pay to our suppliers. We will try our best to decrease your loss because we know it's not your purpose to cancel it.
